Configuration information:
• Windows XP Pro, 32bit and Service Pack 2.
• Used regular SATA configs/no RAID.
• No internet for this puppy. That’s still just a bad idea IMHO.
• All of Mike’s plugs are installed that are available at this time except the amp sim
• Running 4 LCD monitors @ 1280x1024
• Midi is handled with an old MidiMan 8x8s USB interface.
• OS drive is SATA on socket 0. Audio drive is SATA on socket 1. Data backup is removable IDE in cold swap caddy’s, simply because I have a lot of them and recycled the investment.
• I have an old Sony DRU model CDrW / DVD drive and Nero to work it.
• 4 EDS cards, 3 Cs16, 3 MEC/IF-2
• A few days into the build, I *AM NOT* disabling midiplay. Dead solid so far.
• Installed and running alongside the Paris app is the Line6 monkey. Zero issues. Audio comes from the GtrPort, 'not' through USB. Could not make the Line6 VST plug workn in Paris.
