Error in reading project. Error code 1879048225/70000021
This should be considered "pending confirmation" - but it looks like this one is related to attempting to open a PARIS 3.0 file using an earlier version of PARIS (3.0 projects aren't backwards compatible due to major structural changes from previous versions). There's no alternative but to find a way to open the PPJ in 3.0 (although there are alternatives to buying 3.0 to simply achieve a "one off" transfer, see below) and re-save the file in a more compatible form.
To get the file open in V 3.0, you have the following choices -
1) buy 3.0;
2) (if you haven't already downloaded 3.0 and used up the demo period) download the 3.0 demo and take care of this during the one week demo period;
3) email the PPJ (you don't need to send the audio too - they can just ignore the "file not found" errors) to a PARIS user with 3.0 to back-convert it;
4) upload the PPJ to the forum and ask for the help of any 3.0 user to back-convert it.
Once the project is open in 3.0, this is the process as outlined by Edmund:
I have carefully studied all the file format changes to 3.0 from 2.x and I
believe these steps will allow 2.x to open a 3.0 file (to the extent that
the information exists in 2.x).
- Take a copy of your project in 3.0,
- Remove all effects from all effects busses (check carefully, there are 4
effects per chain and 8 busses per SubMix),
- Save under a different name.
This version SHOULD open with 2.x. Please let me know what you results are
if you try this. 2.x will ignore all other changes and new data from the
project (and of course they will be lost).

You'll have to open the 3.x files, remove all effects from the AUX
section, save, reopen in 2.x, rebuild AUX section. Painful if you have
chained AUXs in your 3.0 files.
