Heartbeat is a plugin created by [[MikeAudet Mike Audet]] for the PARIS EDS effects system.

According to Mike, //"Finally, a metronome for PARIS! Heartbeat allows for 5 tempo and time signature ranges. It produces a very short, cross-faded sign wave that is so short that it sounds like a click. The frequency of the tone is selectable via the "Tone" knob. The "Bar" and "Beat" knobs show the current bar and beat of the project. The "Offset" knob allows adjusting the metronome so that it is in synch with a MIDI sequencer that might be slightly delayed due to driver latency."//
